Our 1:87 Scale Queensland Station Name Boards reproduce the style of station name boards used in Queensland since the late 1800's to present day. These signs used 6" cast iron letters attached to a hardwood board.
Our Station Name Boards are semifinished and require no decals or painting to the sign faces. The letters are slightly raised to replicate the cast iron letters used on the prototype.
They are available only by custom order with the station name of your choice displayed on the sign face. Two signs are supplied with each order, as well as HO Scale 4" x 4" posts.
The two main modelling eras have been catered for with pack QSM-SNB1 White Letters/Black Board as used in the 1930's to 1960's, and QSM-SNB2 featuring the more familiar Black Letter/White Board as used from the 1960's to present day.
